Al Resalah Medical Center (RMC)

Executive Director & CIO

Manama, Bahrain (August 2009 to date)

Manage the center team to deliver the best service to the patients.
Handle human resources and recruitment.
Co-ordinate with Ministry of Health to get the required license for the medical team.
Liase with the other directors to prepare the budget.
Ensure all services are running 24hours including GP, Dental, Laboratory, etc.
Manage IT department and operation for the Medical Center and pharmacy.
Prepared I.T. policies and procedures.
Managed I.T. tasks for the new infrastructure from A to Z including the construction related to I.T., cabling, purchasing, hardware configuration and software development.
Deliver a weekly report to the general manager detailing the current IT details and future plans’ updates.
Liase with the third parties including ISPs for any I.T. related issues.
Developed PBX software to manage calls’ reports coming on Panasonic TAD100D on RS232 port.
Manage & support Windows & Linux servers & workstations.
Manage & support Microsoft SQL Server and MySql database servers.
Manage & support the internal EHR software including the online & mobile features.
Monitor the email server and email usage to make sure policies are been followed.
Update the center with the latest technology.
Review and update the ICD with the latest release.
Handle the CCTV systems with more than 20 cameras connected to the server.
Handle Bio Server used for the fingerprint attendance system.
Monitor the Squid server (Linux) to ensure the internet usage is according to the company’s policy.
Develop required in-house application using the latest technology, e.g C#, MySql, SQL Server, PHP, etc.
Meet in regular basis with the management to discuss the issues and listen to them to improve the work.
Works with CFO to provide the accounts reports from the database.
Work with the Laboratory technician to make sure all machines are working and follow up with the vendors for any maintenance.
